CheckMyPill
The Swiss solution for medication identification
Your daily challenge
According to the Swiss Patient Safety Foundation, 10% of patients experience a medication error during their hospital stay in Switzerland [ref in French / German]. Medication administration is the most critical step.
Nurses, nurse assistants, healthcare professionals, you regularly face difficulties identifying medications:
when administering medication to patients (verification step)
when a patient asks you to identify a pill
when you find a pill in the patient’s surroundings
With 4,500 pills authorized in Switzerland, recognizing a pill once it's out of its packaging can be a complex task.

And in too many cases, the information on the back of an individual blister pack is not enough to identify the medication or its dosage.

The challenge is often compounded by the fact that medications are prepared by the night staff and administered by the morning staff.
The challenge is often compounded by the fact that preparation and administration are carried out by different people for organizational reasons.
